In the heart of the Erg Chebbi desert, where time is measured in the undulating patterns of sand, Sahara Waves attempts to capture the ethereal beauty of desert waves on the border of day and night. The captured moments freeze the dynamic rhythm of the dunes, where each grain becomes a note in the composition and the wind acts as a conductor.

Dancing Flames - A Study of Light and Motion

Fire is energy in its purest form—ever-changing, untamed, and hypnotic. In this serie, flames move like spiritual dancers, their fluid shapes captured in moments of spontaneous choreography. Light and shadow intertwine, creating a visual symphony that evokes warmth, transformation, and the raw essence of life itself. This collection is an exploration of fire as both a force of creation and destruction, a symbol of passion, vitality, and inspiration.

Dance of Death I | II

Dance of Death is a fascinating monochromatic photo series set against the dramatic backdrop of the Cango Caves in the Western Cape of South Africa. These caves were meticulously sculpted by nature over millions of years. Rainwater flowed through small cracks in the limestone rock where the limestone dissolved in the water and it flowed out. Through the play of light and shadow, these formations resemble dancing skeletons.

Grotta Bianca

The artwork is the interplay of light and water where the reflection of the vivid blue sea casts an enchanting glow through the space. Grotta Bianca is a picturesque sea cave located along the beautiful coastline of Capri. It takes its name from white deposits of calcareous matter on the sides, and from clusters of white stalactites hanging from the roof and lining the entrance.

Gender identity

This collection captures the mesmerizing beauty of Antelope Canyon in Arizona (US). The stunning geological formation has been carved out by the force of erosion. It displays intricate sandstone textures formed over centuries by floods and underground processes. The bright afternoon sunlight falls perpendicularly through the narrow passages, creating fascinating shades. Formally, sculptures arise as it were referring to the human in various guises called Gender identity .

Moonlight

This work explores moonlight as a sculptural element within space. Positioned asymmetrically, it allows light to define presence rather than location. The image shifts between object and illusion, engaging the viewer and subtly dissolving the boundary between representation and reality. Rooted in a universal celestial phenomenon, Moonlight invites quiet contemplation, evoking renewal, balance, and the poetic tension between light and darkness.

Sand source

We take you to the ancient landscapes of Porto Santo, an island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. The sand bears witness to the relentless forces of nature, formed over thousands of years by the incessant action of the wind. The formations date from the last Ice Age. the sand particles consist mainly of fragments of mollusks and calcareous algae, a legacy of the marine life that once existed here.

Zilte Stilte

These images capture the beauty of Death Valley in Nevada (US), one of the driest, hottest and lowest places in the world. I invite viewers to reflect on the stark beauty and vastness of nature in this valley. Being present in this place makes you silent.

Natural Liquids

Natural Liquids captures the essence of Pamukkale's iconic travertine terraces. The interplay of light and texture in my images emphasizes the fluidity and movement of the mineral-rich water. Each photograph in the series seems to freeze a moment of transformation, where water, earth, and light converge to form a scene of surreal beauty.

Sculptured Valleys – Valleys of Time

This collection explores Cappadocia's awe-inspiring, otherworldly landscapes. Through this series, I take my viewers on a journey through valleys shaped over 60 million years by volcanic eruptions and erosion, highlighting the region’s distinctive tuff and limestone formations. These natural sculptures, untouched by human hands, evoke a sense of primal power and wonder, revealing the profound beauty of a landscape formed by forces beyond our control.

Smoke - Burned land

This serie was taken in the Furnas geothermal park of Azores. Sulfur fumes curl up from the boiling earth. These solfataras are fumaroles from which volcanic gases, mainly steam with a high concentration of sulfur compounds, are released. These gases are extracted from the underground magma or lava of a volcano. A fascinating spectacle.

Sculpted wood

Sculpted Wood captures naturally weathered tree stumps found in the national park in Utah, shaped over time by heat, drought, and the elements. Though lifeless, their forms resemble intentional sculptures resting on the earth, transforming the landscape into a quiet, open-air gallery shaped entirely by nature’s hand.

Cultivated

Cultivated is a photographic exploration of landscapes shaped by human intention. The collection reveals how purposeful intervention transforms nature into living patterns of beauty. Through careful composition and attention to form, the images highlight the aesthetic dialogue between natural growth and human design, showing that cultivation can be both an act of utility and an art form.

Secret of the Tube

Formed deep within a volcanic lava tube, this structure is a relic of Earth’s molten past. Shaped by flowing lava and preserved in complete darkness for millennia, it remained untouched by light or human presence. What appears is a natural sculpture — a silent trace of the planet’s raw creative force.
